don't you seriously want your heart eaten

genuine question

has anyone ever used fontographer?
I seriously need help and I would really appreciate any advice…

basically, I stupidly decided to create my own font for my final college project.
I’ve got what I want in illustrator, all my letters, punctuation etc. I’ve exported them as EPS files to add to fontographer…
added them and everything looks peachy in the edit screen of each letter but outside of that everything is wrong…
my font is a sketchy outline of Adobe Caslon and the vectors are perfect, however when I export the font everything is black and filled in and generally ugly as sin.
also, despite my best efforts of sizing the letters correctly (putting guide lines in for the base line, the height of the ascenders and descenders…) they all come out the same size.
there are screenshots of these problems here on my project blog if you can’t understand my jabbering…

as you can see I’m seriously struggling and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
if you can help me in any way I’d be incredibly grateful…

ick, the compression makes it look awful… the HQ version is miles better…
but yeah, this is what I’ve been pouring my blood, sweat and tears into for the last 3 weeks.

FINISHED.

full screen it bitches.

WATCH THIS AND MARVEL AT MY WILL POWER.

I just realised

that all of my drawings and design stuff are linked to my old url…

and I can’t be arsed changing them all…

there’s a click through anyway…

commence more graphics spam.

I figured out why they wouldn’t post.

SORRY BECAUSE I DESIGN IN CMYK AND THAT’S TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU TUMBLR.
